How these web development tutorials are structured

Every course here is a hub page with an ordered lesson list in the sidebar. Open the hub, start at lesson one, and work down. Nothing is locked and nothing costs money.

The path starts with PHP, because PHP gets you to a working, database-backed site fastest. Once you can build and ship something real, the front-end frameworks make far more sense.

What you will learn

• PHP — syntax, forms, OOP and MySQL. Start with the PHP tutorial series.
• MySQL — designing tables, writing queries, and wiring them into your pages.
• JavaScript — the language that makes a page respond to the person using it.
• React and Next.js — components, routing, and rendering on the server.
• Laravel — structure and tooling for larger PHP projects.

Who these guides are for

Complete beginners are welcome. You do not need a degree or a fast computer. A free local server, a code editor, and an hour a day are enough to get moving.

If you already write some code, skip ahead. The lessons are short on purpose, so you can jump straight to the part you actually need.
